Cowboy Holster

The company founder, John Bianchi, has a reputation as the finest craftsman of holsters and gun belts around the world. For forty years he has mimicked the hand precision of the old west leather workers to create unmatched quality products. His process uses twenty six highly skilled hand operations, the use of seventeen precision hand tools, and three machine operations to individually create every cowboy holster and gun belt.

Western enthusiasts, re-enactors, and historians all understand the significance of the relationship between a cowboy and his horse, saddle, and gun. Many times these few items were almost everything a cowboy owned. They would spend a good part of their lives in the wilderness riding from town to town looking for work, or in some cases taking what they could get their hands on. A good sturdy horse was a necessity for the many long journeys, but a saddle, gun belt and cowboy holster hand crafted of quality leather could be invaluable.

A good cowboy holster had to be made to stand up to the harsh life many men lead at the time. Living outdoors, and working in the dirt and hot sun all day made for a life that did not lend itself to always being the cleanest. A man's gun was not just for show back then. Many times it was the difference between life and death so a good cowboy holster to protect it was a must. Frontier Gunleather understands the importance of quality when it comes to making one of kind leather products.

The designs he spent a lifetime perfecting have been used over the years to accessorize cowboys in movies, television, historical re-enactments, and collectors. Each product is individually hand crafted to match the wearer's measurements, gun caliber, model, and barrel length.

A cowboy holster may not seem like something many people would be interested in today. Sure, back in the old west it was a necessity to carry a gun, but today gun carrying cowboys are mostly seen on television or the big screen.
